Happy Fourth of July from Panama City Beach

By Tim French in Blog.

The weather is great and our guests are in a wonderful mood with cash to burn. If you can’t find something to do today you might be a recluse. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.

I’ll be at the first Color Run in Pier Park. That looks like a memorable event that visitors and locals alike will enjoy. Other than that my day will be spend somewhere close to the water and a cooler. I’ll be on a boat this evening to watch the fireworks on the beach. That is the most amazing display of color and noise I will see all year.

Besides the massive displays provided by Pier Park, and local businesses and communities, the individual fireworks shot off from the beach goes on for hours. It is estimated well over $2,000,000 of fireworks will explode over the beach on this Fourth of July. What a show!

Here’s a rundown of all the activities in the area. Be safe my friends!
