Greetings from The Beach,
 
Several people from the Panama City Beach Chamber are on my mailing list, and recently I was asked to write an article about the real estate market in Panama City Beach. The article is attached and is worth a look, if for nothing else, the picture of AQUABUSINESS AT THE BEACH is the membership directory for our Chamber and is sent out to all the airports servicing PCB, can be viewed on the internet,  mailed to people inquiring about PCB, and will be in strategic places of business throughout the area. As the market continues to rebound, I will be doing more marketing. I’ve seen people go broke advertising, but now is the time to be more aggressive.
It’s been a great start for 2013 for the market on the beach. Most of the condos willing to accept the lower prices are gone, but I do have some condos that are priced to sell. There are some deals available on several 1 & 2 bedroom floor plans and the prices will be competitive with what is listed. If you haven’t been to the beach recently, you will be amazed at how different AQUA looks from 98 with the new Walmart directly in front of the building. Wally World will be a huge benefit for this area, and the building blends in with a very “beachy” look. They spent at least a $$Half Million$$ on the landscaping, and the road improvements really help traffic flow. You won’t be disappointed!
 
Pier Park North is well under way and the excavation opens up the north side of 98 to create more excitement about the expansion of business and the confidence that this area will continue to make improvements in our quality of life and our guest’s vacation experience. 
 
The new Ampitheater opened recently in Pier Park and will get more exposure during the Jazz Fest coming up in a few weeks. The Summer Series of Concerts will start the first week of June and continue on Thursdays throughout the summer. 
Below you will find some information on the new businesses at Pier Park. The pictures are outstanding and this area is the future of PCB. The amazing thing about Pier Park is when there is a commercial spot that comes open, it is filled immediately. 
 
Panama City Beach seems to bring out the adventurous side of some of these nationally know companies. For example, SHONEYS has replaced The Cantina next to Panera Bread, and they kept the bar intact. We have the only SHONEYS with a bar! It’s actually a pretty inexpensive place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner for  the kids.
